At DO MORE TRAVEL, we believe travel should be about more than ticking places off a bucket list. It should challenge you, open your eyes to a different way of life and leave a positive impact along the way.
Our volunteer experiences give you the chance to see a different side of the world, connect with local communities, meet like-minded people and contribute to projects that genuinely make a difference.
And there’s no one way to DO MORE.
Some travellers are looking for a social group adventure, while others prefer something more independent and flexible.
Younger travellers often choose our group-style experiences, travelling alongside people of a similar age and sharing the adventure from start to finish. Other travellers may prefer a more relaxed, independent experience with greater flexibility and comfort.
Most of our experiences are designed for travellers aged 18+, but under 18s may also be able to join selected projects when travelling with a parent, guardian or approved supervising adult.
And it’s not all about volunteering.
During your free time and weekends, there are plenty of opportunities to get out and explore, whether that’s joining a local tour, experiencing the culture, heading off on an adventure or simply making the most of being somewhere completely different.
We know heading overseas to volunteer can feel like a big step, and it’s completely normal to have questions.
Is it safe? Will I know anyone? Which project is right for me?
That’s where we come in.
We’ll help you find an experience that suits you, get you ready before you leave and support you while you’re overseas. You’ll also have local support on the ground, so you’re never left to figure everything out on your own.
For us, DO MORE TRAVEL is about more than volunteering overseas. It’s about getting beyond the tourist trail, connecting with people and places in a more meaningful way and coming home with stories, friendships and memories that stay with you.
