The host family made us feel at home from day one. By the end, it genuinely felt like we were part of the family, and leaving was easily the hardest part.
One of the moments that will stay with me forever was helping prepare and hand out meals to people in the local community. Everyone was so grateful, even though many had so much less than what we’re used to back home.
It really puts things into perspective. Knowing we’d made a genuine positive impact while experiencing the real Vietnam made the whole trip incredibly special. It’s the kind of experience that stays with you long after you get home.
